Saying that you are going to finish your degree and go to graduate school is not the same as actually doing it. It. Is. Not.
Unless you are a registered student in an accredited graduate school program, you aren't a grad student.

So I actually AM in a graduate program (half way done! hallelujah!) and I'm unbelievably bugged by the girls that tell me "Oh, I'm going to get a Ph.D." Oh, are you really? Were you planning on getting a masters first? Or even thinking about the GRE? Or even picking a school? Or is my in-progress masters program immaterial in the face of your surely-soon-to-be-Ph.D.?
I am naming my child with the last name PHD that way he does not have to go to school!
Wait, are you serious? People DO that? I think I just had a tiny seizure.
You mean I should REGISTER for law school instead of just walking around the law library? Ugh. Could've told me sooner.
You can go ahead and start calling my Dr. Slade.
Whoa... you need to relax.
Ha, ha! So true!
