I love this poem. (Even though it's not here any more, I think I know which poem you're referring to.) It was one of the hundreds I read for my PhD qualifying exams, but it's stayed with me when so many others have faded. It haunted me as I walked through Poland in October, where everything is named after Marie Curie. It's so beautiful and moving. It cuts deep.
